DUNCAN GEDDES
Executive Director
At The Parks Chamber, Duncan will utilize his network of relationships and contacts that have been built over many years to help grow its membership, increase the connection between members, and maximize the organization’s sponsorship potential. For the past 30 years, Duncan served as the Head Golf Professional at Aldeen Golf Club and worked to create a course widely regarded as one of Illinois’ finest and most affordable public facilities. Over the years, Duncan administered seven state championships, hundreds of charitable and corporate golf outings, and countless social events. In hosting these events and serving the clubs patrons, Duncan has developed a network that connects with private businesses and public entities. As a long-standing member of the Rockford Cosmopolitan Club, Duncan has worked to help fund numerous local charities including Crusader Clinic. Duncan looks forward to utilizing his love of the game and love of community to help grow The Parks Chamber.
DIANE JAMES
Director of Membership and Sponsorship Development
Diane James has a long-standing passion for connecting people to people and business to business. In her previous role as Director of Business Development at MembersAlliance Credit Union, she demonstrated her commitment to community engagement time and time again. Diane retired from MembersAlliance in April 2025, but her dedication to relationship building and community growth continues.
In her new role with the Parks Chamber of Commerce as Director of Membership and Sponsorship Development, Diane looks forward to strengthening relationships with existing businesses, expanding the membership base, and continuing the Chamber’s mission of supporting and growing the business community.
Sandra Wolfe
Member Support
As the Assistant to Mayor Jury, Sandra Wolfe has, over the past few years, made an big impact at the City of Loves Park. She has now been kind enough to assist The Parks Chamber by helping as our Director of Membership Support. Sandra’s business experience has made her a perfect fit for managing The Parks Chamber database, membership MMS system, social media and event calendars. Sandra’s help with ribbon cuttings, networking events and other special events including the golf outing have been extremely helpful.
Alyssa Thompson
Marketing and Communications Support
Alyssa Thompson currently works for the City of Loves Park as the Marketing and Communications Specialist in the Mayor’s Office. She provides valuable assistance to the Parks Chamber of Commerce in various social media and communications efforts. With a keen eye for detail, Alyssa covers local events by photographing them and uses her expertise to enhance the Chamber’s presence in the community. Her strong communication skills and dedication to her work allow her to contribute in many impactful ways, helping the Chamber connect with the community and promote local happenings.
